Na matem\u00e1tica, uma permuta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 uma reorganiza\u00e7\u00e3o dos elementos de um conjunto de maneiras espec\u00edficas. Uma permuta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 uma disposi\u00e7\u00e3o ordenada dos elementos de um conjunto, onde a ordem dos elementos \u00e9 importante.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Uma permuta\u00e7\u00e3o de um conjunto de n elementos pode ser representada como uma sequ\u00eancia ordenada desses elementos. Por exemplo, considere o conjunto {1, 2, 3}. Algumas permuta\u00e7\u00f5es desse conjunto seriam:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    A f\u00f3rmula geral para o n\u00famero de permuta\u00e7\u00f5es de um conjunto de n elementos \u00e9 dada por n!, onde “!” denota o fatorial. O fatorial de um n\u00famero n \u00e9 o produto de todos os n\u00fameros inteiros positivos de 1 a n. Por exemplo, 4! = 4 \u00d7 3 \u00d7 2 \u00d7 1 = 24.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Portanto, para um conjunto de 3 elementos, como no exemplo acima, o n\u00famero total de permuta\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e9 3! = 3 \u00d7 2 \u00d7 1 = 6.<\/strong><\/h4>\n
